Union Station - Gary, Indiana - 06.10.09

The abandoned Union Station in Gary was one of my favorites spots to go to. The freight trains passing by were an awesome sight to see and added to the feel of the place. The station was built in 1910 and supposedly has been vacant since the 1950's.

    wow. Incredible pics. Is there anything interesting in Gary that is NOT abandoned?

    Also, do you know the status of Gary's torched Frank Lloyd Wright house?

    No actually I don't! I do know there were a ton of other places we didn't have time to explore...
